On the D-max you can do a simple little wire mod and set a high idle on it. The high idle comes built into the computer you just have to activate it. You use the cruse control to set it up.

I also believe that most if not all D-max's came with a block heater. I know my 05 has one.

On a side note. There is a problem with the injector wiring harness. Mine messed up on me driving across the country and I just fixed one last Sat. It doesn't cost any money to fix if you do it your self and if you take it to GM they will charge something like $500 to replace the harness just for it to happen to you again. If you lose all power like the truck is in limp mode let me know and have an ice pick handy
