when you get rid of all the emission stuff on a 5.0 egr, smog pump, cats,etc.. is there any parts you need for the computer to make it run right?

I don't think so.

If there would be a problem, it would be with the EGR being deleted.

You would need an EGR block off plate, and something to cap the EGR bung on the manifold.

No parts needed for the computer...it may throw a check code...if you get a tuner (i use tweecer) you can change a scalar to tell the eec that the egr is disabled

Make sure you take the small heater hoses off the EGR plate also. the CEL will be on but no drivability problems.
